Fabrics, Threads & History
My interest in textiles started in my school days while learning dressmaking. Today I explore fabrics and stitching alongside the tools and machines of the trade, often from a historical perspective.
My pieces are inspired by the natural world, other cultures and my travels. Many of my fabrics are hand-dyed, and my work combines embroidery and quilting with manipulated fabrics and mixed media.
